Veronica Davis Jarlis of Canton died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, January 11, 2026. She was 82 years old. She worked as a paralegal for many years and enjoyed spending time at the Canton Senior Center, playing Mah Jongg, and relaxing at the beach.
She was the daughter of the late John Joseph Davis of Putnam, Connecticut and Julie Mildred Zerdecki of Three Rivers, Massachusetts. Veronica was the devoted wife of William V. Jarlis of Canton, and the loving mother of Hillary D. Jarlis of Los Angeles, Phillip D. Jarlis of Canton, and Benjamin D. Jarlis of Canton. She was the beloved sister of Elaine Davis of Putnam, Connecticut, and a cherished aunt to her nieces and nephews, as well as a loving great-aunt to their children, all of whom she held close to her heart.
Visiting hours will be held at the Pushard Family Funeral Home on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 1–4 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
