Richard B. Davis

Richard B. Davis of Canton, formerly of Fort Myers FL and Melrose, died peacefully at home January 9, 2019. He was 85 years old. Richard had a distinguished career at Bay State Gas for over 40 years He retired and moved to Florida in 1994. Richard was a devoted husband to the late Janet (Wadland) Davis. Loving father of Debra L. Paterson and her husband Michael of Cape Coral, FL, Donna J. Miller of Tarpon Springs, FL, and Darcy E. O'Brien and her husband Bartholomew of Canton, MA. Proud grandfather of Matthew and Christopher Paterson, Steven and Jeffrey Miller, Emily O'Brien-Moss and her husband Christian, and Bartholomew and Kelly O'Brien: and proud great-grandfather to Grayson Moss. He is also survived by a brother Clifton Davis of Bangor, ME and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St., Canton, Monday, January 14, 2019 from 4-7 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
