Ralph V. Papetti

Ralph V. Papetti  of Canton and formerly of Hyde Park passed away on February 18, 2021. He was 93 years old.  He was a loving son of the late Agostino Papetti and his late wife Giuliana and loving father of Richard Papetti and his wife Sara, Paul Papetti, and Rena Sousa and her husband David.  He was the beloved husband of the late Irene Papetti and the dear companion of Joan Stallings.  He was the loving brother of the late Louis Papetti and his late wife Margaret, the late Mary Perosino and her late husband Vincent, the late Dino Papetti and his late wife Beverly, and Ilda Papetti and her companion James Alexander.  He was the adoring grandfather of his many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and cherished uncle to many nephews and nieces.  He will be fondly remembered by his many relatives and friends.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a Seabee, and an over 65 year member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 4.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Gerard Majella Church, 1860 Washington Street, Canton, interment St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph Street, Canton.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend following COVID-19 protocols. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ralph’s memory to Make-A-Wish, www,wish.org.
