Marie (Centamore) Pomeroy

Marie Pomeroy, 78, of Canton Ma passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born on May 29, 1944. She was raised by her parents Ross & Jennie Centamore of Quincy Ma, along with her surviving brothers Russell, Stephen Centamore of Plymouth, and late sister Patricia Centamore. After graduating, Marie worked as a bookkeeper at the family business, Bromfield Camera, for 46 years. Marie met her loving husband, Edward T Pomeroy in 1977, acquiring her bonus daughter and then going on to have three more children. Marie and Ed enjoyed snow birding to their home in DelRay, Florida where she was the honorary “social director” of the Churchill Condos throwing the best “Happy Hour” they have ever seen! She is survived by her Husband Ed, her children and spouses: Keri Pomeroy of North Andover, Jennifer  and Shawn Champlin of Cranston RI, Eddie Jr & Christina Pomeroy of Canton and Stephanie & Bryce  Gatrell of Silver Spring Maryland and her loving Grandchildren: Alex, Chase, Justin, Shane, Landon, Miles,  Harrison, Julien and Norah as well as numerous brothers & sisters in law, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the most loving Wife, Mother, Nonnie, Sister, Auntie Ri, Auntie Nonnie & Friend. There was not a person who crossed her path that was not touched by her selfless heart & she will be missed terribly but never forgotten. Her love and smile were palpable. Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, Canton, Thursday from 5-9 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Friday at 9 AM followed by a graveside service at Canton Corner Cemetery at 11 AM.
