Loretta (Leshney) Nichols

Loretta Nichols (Leshney) passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on October 26, 2021 at age 84.

Born to Evangel and Martha Leshney on June 4, 1937 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Loretta was a devoted caretaker and loyal friend. Her green thumb and culinary expertise were surpassed only by her love and dedication to her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Nichols of 44 years, she is survived by her brother Thomas Leshney (Lola); son Dr. Eugene Nichols (Susan); daughter Julie Spillane (Christopher); son Robert Nichols; cherished grandchildren Kristen Spillane Millman (Matthew), Emily Nichols, Brian Spillane (Anna), and Ethan Nichols. Loretta also leaves behind her dear nephews and niece.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours in celebration of Loretta’s life in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman Street Canton, MA on Saturday, October 30 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by an Orthodox Christian funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will be held privately for her family at Knollwood Memorial Park.
