Leonilda A. Salemme

Leonilda A. Salemme (Verzone) of Canton, died April 10, 2011 in the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton. She was 100. Leonilda once worked for Draper Mills in Canton for several years. She also was a self employed beautician and owned and operated a variety store in Canton for many years. Beloved wife of the late George T. Salemme. Devoted mother of Janice V. McKee and her husband Stanley of Philips ME, Andrea Comeau of Canton, and the late Nadine Bruce. Sister of Florence Chetkauskas of Canton. Also survived by 7 grandchildren 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours Thursday 3-7 PM In the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St., Canton. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday April 15, 2011, 1030 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church Washington St. Canton. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Hellenic Nursing Home and Rehab 601 Sherman St., Canton, MA 02021.
