John "Jack" Keane

John “Jack” Keane,

 Of Norwood, passed away at his residence on February 7, 2022 after a lengthy illness.  He was 67.

The son of the late Mary Di Lillo and her husband Otino and the late Joseph Keane. Brother to Kevin Keane and his wife Laurie of Bridgewater. Beloved uncle to Kara Keane and her husband Joseph Ezersky of Taunton along with Meghan Keane of Bridgewater.

John graduated from Norwood High School and attended Northeastern University and University of Massachusetts before graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College.

John proudly served in the United States Army while being stationed in Korea. He spent his entire career in law enforcement starting as a Military Policeman, a Federal Police Officer then returning to his hometown as a Norwood Policeman before finally retiring as a Massachusetts Correctional Officer having worked at both the Old Colony Correctional Center in Bridgewater and MCI – Norfolk. 

He was an avid fan of sports and politics and loved debating both. He will be greatly missed by friends and family.

Private funeral services will be held on Saturday morning from the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, Canton.  Interment with Honors will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
