John J. Hatch Sr.

John J. Hatch Sr. of Canton died September 11, 2023. John was 97 years old.  He was the devoted husband of the late Barbara J. Hatch (Hockaday). Loving father of Claire E. Gould and her husband Neil of Milford, John J. Hatch Jr. and his wife Donna of Brookline, Gary L. Hatch and his wife Karen of Millis, Lori J. Carey and her husband Robert of Norwood, and William A. Hatch of Hyannis. He was the loving Son of the late Charles and Rose Hatch of South Boston. He is survived by his sister, Louise Cunningham of Walpole. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. John was an avid bowler back in his day. He enjoyed going on his daily walks to Cobbs Corner and getting lucky with scratch tickets. A memorial service will be held at Knollwood Memorial Park Chapel in Canton on October 14 at 11am.
