John L. Cash

John L. Cash of Canton died peacefully May 1, 2017. He was 93 years old. John was a proud veteran of W.W. II serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked as a plumber for the John Hancock Company until retirement. He was son of the late William and Lillian (Saluto) Cash; he was raised by the late Leo and Alice Hartigan. Loving father of Joanie Evans of R.I., Jonathan Cash of Norwood, Kersten Melchiori of RI, and the late Jeff Cash. He was predeceased by his sisters, Trudy Monette and Rose Marie Hoyt and his brothers, Robert (Bill), Paul, William (Albert) Charles and Richard. Proud grandfather of Theodore Evans, Alison Evans, Lillian Melchiori and Jack Melchiori. Funeral service will be private Interment at National Cemetery Bourne. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John's memory to Hellenic Home & Rehab Center in Canton, MA.
