John Ames Bright

John Ames Bright a lifelong resident of Canton, died at Caritas Norwood Hospital December 26, 2009. He was 90. Mr. Bright was a proud W.W.II veteran serving in the U.S. Army. After graduating from Wentworth University Mr. Bright worked as an engineer. In addition to being self-employed he worked for many years for Raytheon. Mr. Bright was also a former Building Inspector for the Town of Canton. He was a dedicated member of the United Church of Christ in Canton for many years and was a devoted husband to his late wife Marjorie. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie (Hare). Father of Carol Bright of Canton, and the late John "Russ" Bright and the late Eric Bright. Father- in-law to Charlene Bright of Plainville and Maria Rogue of Taunton. Grandfather of Camille Bright and her husband Dr. Alex Nagle of NY, Catherine Bright of Boston and Christopher Bright of Plainville. The family will be receiving visitors at the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton on Saturday January 2, 2010 from 11 AM- 1 PM. Interment will be private.
