Heidi Bromley (Michalak), 71, of Canton, formerly of South Boston, passed away on December 22 after a brief illness. Heidi was born in Austria in 1951 and her family moved to America when she was a little girl. When she was 22 she went on a blind date with a man from South Boston and found the love of her life. They went on to share 48 years full of love and laughter. They had one daughter who she adored and stayed home with when she was young. More than just a mom, she was a best friend. Later she worked as a seamstress, a secretary at Boston College High School, and for the Department of Revenue Child Support Enforcement Division. She was blessed with 3 grandchildren who she doted on. She was so proud of them. She was never too tired or too busy for the people she cared about. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved fiercely and her family was lucky to have her. She is survived by her husband, William, her daughter Stacy Nee and her boyfriend David Benton, her grandchildren Joseph, William, and Abbey Nee, extended family and friends. In accordance with Heidi’s wishes services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please hug the people you love a little tighter and help someone in need. Heidi donated to Toys for Tots every year and would quietly help people when she knew they were struggling. Be kind to each other in her memory.
