Francis Stephen Murphy “Franky” of Canton, formerly of Stoughton and Brockton, died October 29, 2019. He was 48 years old. Franky was a self-employed guitar instructor. He was an avid musician playing in various bands, “Triphammer” and “Every Second” to name a couple. Beloved son of Judith A. Murphy (McCarron) and the late Francis A. Murphy. Father of Francis and Randi Hottinger. Loving brother of Kimberly A. Murphy of Canton, Jennifer L. Curtis of Canton, and Joseph M. Murphy of Plymouth. Loving companion of Erin Rolfe. Franky is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and beloved band members. Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman Street, Canton, Tuesday, November 5th from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church 700 Washington St., Canton, Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment will be private.
