Frances E. Lewis of Sharon, formerly of Canton, died August 20, 2021. She was 87 years old. Frances was known for her caring and compassionate personality; being employed for a number of years caring for the elderly at local assisted-living communities as well as the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Jamaica Plain. She also expressed her love for the young as a family day-care provider for several years. Loving daughter of the late Samuel and Josephine Bonino. Devoted wife of William H. Lewis for sixty-five years. Loving mother of Nancy M. Pfister and her husband Kenneth of Marianna FL, William H. Lewis Jr. of Norwood, Jeanne M. Melesciuc and her husband Robert of Apex, NC and Kenneth C. Lewis of Attleboro. Sister of Jean Duggan of Mansfield and the late Ann Pease, Elizabeth Pagliuca, Joseph Bonino, and William Bonino. Sister-in-law of Joseph Lewis of Los Angeles, CA. Proud grandmother loved by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as “Franny Granny”. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched. Funeral arrangements will be private.
