Elizabeth Doris Lennox

Elizabeth Doris Lennox, a longtime resident of Stoughton, passed away unexpectedly February 27, 2023, at the age of 81. Born in Boston, Elizabeth graduated from Colby-Sawyer Junior College and the University of New Hampshire, and worked for many years as an underwriter for the John Hancock Insurance Company. Daughter of the late Bruce and Doris (Carlson) Lennox , she was the beloved sister of Judith Winer and her late husband, Steve, formerly of Sharon MA. She is also survived by her nephew David Winer of Taunton, her niece Debbie Harmon, her husband, Paul, and their son, Jake (with whom she shared a birthday), all of Hudson; as well as lifelong friend of 80 years who was like another sister to her, Joan Otto & her husband Fred of Marstons Mills.  A memorial service will be held in Pemaquid this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Bristol Area Library in Pemaquid, ME.
