Elaine T. Walsh

Elaine T. Walsh (Hill) a life-long resident of Canton died peacefully Monday, April 16, 2012 after a long illness. She was 78. Born in Boston she was raised in Canton and attended Canton Schools. Elaine was a retired telephone operator for New England Telephone. She was the devoted and loving wife of the late Paul A. Walsh. Loving mother of Donna L. Tarushka and her husband William of Holbrook, Kevin P. Walsh and his wife Stacey of Norton, and James G. Walsh and his wife Maria of Canton. Loving sister of the late Pauline Valday and Marie Layman. Proud grandmother of Heather, Haley, Jamie, Laura, and Kayla. Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton, Thursday from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday April 20, 2012 in St. Gerard Majella Church 1860 Washington St. Canton at 10 AM. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park. If desired, donations in Elaine's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 311 Arsenal Street Watertown, MA 02472.
