Dorothy A. Gilroy (O'Connell)of Groveland, formerly of Canton died January 22, 2011 following a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late Edward M. Gilroy. Loving mother of James E. Gilroy and his wife Mary of Oregon, Margaret N. Coulombe and her husband Norman of Canton, Dorothy P. Fanaras and her husband Joseph of West Newbury, Paul T. Gilroy MSP and his wife Debra of Norwood, and Robert G. Gilroy SJ of Weston. Cousin of Catherine Gorman SSJ of Milton. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visiting hours in the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St., Canton Thursday January 27, 2011 from 3-7 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church 700 Washington St. Canton Friday at 10:30 AM. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Canton.
