Donald F. Cotter

Donald F. Cotter, a Retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force died peacefully at home Tuesday, May 4, 2010 on his 92nd birthday. Donald was a proud graduate of Holy Cross class of 1941 and worked as a sales manager for N.E. Telephone for over 30 years. He was loved dearly by his entire family. Devoted husband of Esther (Mayer). Loving father of William F. Cotter and his wife Susan of Plymouth, Deborah C. Sharpe and her husband George of Canton, and Mark M. Cotter of Canton. He is survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton Thursday 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday 10:00 AM in St. Gerard Majella Church Washington St Canton. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery Canton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Donald's memory to Old Colony Hospice 1 Credit Union Way Randolph, MA 02368.
