Donald Francis Beurman of Dedham and Naples FL. Died peacefully February 7, 2025. He was 93 Years old. Donald was a proud veteran serving in the United States Navy. He worked many years as a Westwood High school teacher. Don enjoyed running, mountain climbing, hiking, camping, swimming, playing bocce and darts. Don was a world traveler and a Eucharistic Minister in St. Denis Catholic Church in Westwood for many years. Husband to the late Ethel M. Beurman (Ward). Loving father of Deborah Keegan and her late husband John of Canton, Laura Beurman Ellison, Retired Major Ma State Police, and her husband Evert of Naples, FL, Donald F. Beurman Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Weymouth, and Christopher M. Beurman and his wife Cheri of N. Oxford. Brother of Joanne Steele of FL, Leo “Butchie” Coughlin of Hampden, Mary Lombardo of Norton, and Brian Coughlin of N.C. Don was the proud grandfather of Kathleen Keegan, Curtis Beurman, Skylar Beurman, Jordyn Beurman, Brooke Beurman, and Kolbi Beurman He is also survived by his partner Maria Cutignola with whom he travelled extensively. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman St., Canton, Tuesday, February 11th from 9-1030 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Oscar Romero Catholic Church 700 Washington ST., Canton at 11. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canton Veteran’s Department 801 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021
