Christopher Bell Obituary

Christopher A. Bell, of Canton, died in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family May 3, 2009. He was 54. Chris worked as a motorman for the MBTA and as a self employed painter for many years He was a devoted husband and father who was involved with Canton Little League, Canton Pop-Warner Football and several other local youth groups. He was a member of the American Legion Beatty Post # 24 in Canton. Devoted husband of Mary J. (Gavin) of Canton. Loving son of Arthur P. and Helen M. (Power) Bell of Canton. Proud father of Michael P. Bell, Stephanie M. Bell, and Christopher A. Bell Jr. of Canton and the late Elizabeth Bell. Brother of Dennis Bell and his wife Julie of Norfolk, Andrea Milewski and her husband Anthony of Canton, Joanna Bell of Canton, and the late Kathleen Cunniff and her husband Edward of Canton. Brother-in-law of Jane Gavin of Somerville, Kathleen Flanagan and her husband Joseph of W. Roxbury, William Gavin and his wife Donna of Milton, and Barbara Coleman and her husband James of Roslindale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday May 8, 2009 in St. John the Evangelist Church, Washington St. Canton. At 10:30 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 & 6-9 PM in the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery, Canton. Proud Veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
