Audrey Ann Fleming, of Canton, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, after a long illness. She was 67 years old. Audrey was born in Boston on January 8, 1959, the beloved daughter of the late John Fleming and Mary R. (Keane) Fleming. She was raised in Boston and dedicated her life to service—both to her community and her faith. Audrey proudly served the City of Boston as a police officer for over 25 years, earning the respect of her colleagues and the community she protected. She was injured in the Line of Duty early in her career but remained on the force regardless. She found her calling in the Boston Police’s ID unit where she developed a passion for forensics and fingerprint identification. Following her retirement, she continued her commitment to others through volunteer work as a catechist at St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton, where she shared her faith and guidance with generations of children. Audrey was a devoted mother and is survived by her son, John P. Logan of Canton, and her daughter, Amy M. Doris of Canton. She is also survived by her brothers Robert of Roslindale, Russell of Boston, Kenneth of Walpole, Raymond of Kingston, and Dawn Fleming, and her sister, Terri Lynn Bearden both of N.H. Former wife of John Doris. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Fleming. Audrey also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, Canton, on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Funeral services in celebration of Audrey’s life on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m., at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Oscar Romero Church, 700 Washington Street, Canton, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury. Audrey will be remembered for her strength, dedication, and quiet compassion. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
