Anne M. Bassett

Anne M. Bassett of Canton died peacefully at home December 3, 2018. She was 86 years old. Anne was a retired U.S. Postal Service worker. She was the devoted wife of the late Harold D. Bassett. Loving mother of Stephanie Masciocchi of Hudson, Jacqueline Bassett of Canton, Harold Bassett Jr. of Canton, Denise Rosbicki of Petersburg VA, John Bassett of Canton, Anne Marie McCourt of Plainville, and Theresa Malone of Centerville. Loving sister of Jane Kilroy of Bridgewater, and the late Dorothy DeVoe, Edith Gallagher, and Patricia Ricard. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St, Canton on Thursday, December 6th, from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in St. Gerard Majella Church 1860 Washington St., Canton. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Anne's memory to The American Heart Association
