Ann Terese Resca, a lifelong resident of Canton, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, at the South Shore hospital. She was the beloved daughter of the late Louis and Helen Resca. Ann was a graduate of Canton high school, Bridgewater State College and earned a master's degree in mental health counseling from Northeastern University. Ann taught elementary school in Norwood and Canton before working as a guidance counselor at King Phillip Regional High School. Upon retirement from King Philip, Ann provided private counseling. Ann was an active member of Saint John the Evangelist Church in Canton, where she served on the parish council, taught CCD, was a Eucharistic Minister and initiated the parish grief ministry. She was also a member of Saint Vincent de Paul of St. John's parish. Ann was predeceased by her sister Mary C Studholme and her husband Richard L, and her brother Louis J. Resca Jr. She is survived by her sister-in-law Frances Resca of Braintree, 9 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service held at the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton Saturday, January 31st at 10:30AM. Visiting hours prior to the service starting at 9:30. Interment Saint Mary's cemetery Canton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ann's memory to a charity of your choice.
