Ann T. Burke

Ann T. Burke (Johnson), 73, of Canton died peacefully at home January 3, 2016 surrounded by her family. Ann was a former Sister of Notre Dame. She previously worked as a bookkeeper of medical records and as a parochial school teacher serving various parishes. Ann was involved with "Care and Share" at St. Gerard Majella Parish in Canton. Loving daughter of the late William and Delia Johnson. Devoted wife of William L. Burke Jr. of Canton. Loving stepmother of Brendan C. Burke and his wife Lynne of Rutland, and Kerin P. Burke of Canton. Loving sister of Mary Maguire and her husband Thomas Maguire of Canton, Della O'Donnell and her husband Peter O'Donnell of Easton, William Johnson of Hopedale, Michael Johnson of Brockton, Richard Johnson of CA, the late Jane and Joseph Wrenn, and the late Margaret Moriconi and her husband Rino Moriconi of Billerica. Proud grandmother of Kyle W. Burke, Joshua D. Burke, and Rachel S. Burke. Ann is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and her life long friend, Sheila McCarthy. Visiting hours at the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman St., Canton Wednesday January 6, from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Gerard Majella Church, 1860 Washington St., Canton Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's memory to St. Gerard's "Neighbors in Need" fund.
