Anita Marie (Puccio) Potts

Anita M. Potts (Puccio), of Canton, died unexpectedly August 16, 2024. She was 80 years old. Anita was a Certified Nursing Assistant who worked for the Visiting Nurses Association, Hospice Home Care, in addition to being self-employed. She was the past President of the Sons of Italy in Canton as well as a volunteer greeter at the Canton Town Hall. She was the devoted wife of the late Richard D. Potts Sr. Loving mother of Richard D. Potts Jr. and his wife Jennifer of West Bridgewater, Gail M. Curtis and her husband Michael of Canton and the late Wayne T. Potts and the late James M. Potts. Loving sister to Richard Puccio of Attleboro and the late David Puccio, and the late Joanne Conrad. Proud grandmother to Amanda Curtis, Ashley Wile, James Potts, Samantha Costa, Jonathan Potts, and the late Michael Curtis. Proud great-grandmother of Zachary Curtis, Logan Curtis, Michael Curtis, Enola Wile and Vernon Wile. Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St., Canton Sunday August 25 from 3-6 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Oscar Romero Catholic Church 700 Washington St., Monday at 10 AM. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park.
