Russell R. "Rusty" Doldt

Of Hyde Park died Tuesday May 23rd at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital after a period of illness.

Born in Boston, he has lived in Dorchester in early years and Hyde Park for most of his life. Russell was a disabled truck driver who truly enjoyed driving.

Rusty was a member of the Shawmut Council, Knights of Columbus.

In his spare time he enjoyed trips to the Casino.

He is survived by his wife Donna ( Sullivan ) Doldt, devoted father of Christopher “CJ” Doldt of Hyde Park, Brother of Peggy Creighton of New Hampshire. He is also survived by Many Nieces & Nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of his life will be held at The Sacred Heart Church,  ( Upper Church ) 169 Cummins Highway, Roslindale on Wednesday morning at 10 A.M. Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to Visiting Hours at the Laughlin, Nichols & Pennacchio Funeral Home, 34 Oak Street, ( Corner of Maple St., ) Hyde Park, on Tuesday 4-8.p.m. Interment Private. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Rusty’s Memory to the Charity of your choice.
