Mary E. (Letsche) Santagate

Mary E. ( Letsche ) Santagate of Middleboro, in her 92nd year died on March 11,2017

Mary was a 66 year resisdent of Randolph before moving to Middleboro, and she was the devoted wife of the late Joseph F. Santagate. 

Prior to moving to Middleboro, Mary was a daily communicant of Saint Bernadette Church and ministered over the years as a CCD teacher, Lector and Eucharistic Minister. She was an active participant in the Charasmatic renewal for many years. Her devotion to our Lord and His Blessed Mother sustained and nourished her throughout her life. Mary was creative and artistic elaborately decorating cakes for every conceivable occasion, and spent time teaching ceramics glasses from her home. She was the sister of the late Frederick Letsche, Karl Letsche and Paul Letsche, Sister in Law of the late Vincent Manganelli.  She is survived by daughter Anne-Marie & her husband Joseph Gallant of Middleboro, her son John Santagate of Wareham, her sister Patricia Manganelli of Norfolk, her brothers John Letsche of Avon and Robert Letsche of Scituate, her sister-in-laws Joanna, Elizabeth, Marilyn, and Rozalyn Letsche. She was the very lovede Grandmother of Barbara Cory, Joseph Gallant Jr., (MFD), Maryanne Hughs, Jennifer & Jodie Santagate, Michael Gallant & Nicole Meehan, she was also the Great Grandmother of 10 ansd much cherished Aunt of many Nieces & Nephews.

Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Thursday, March 16th 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 North Main Street, Randolph. A Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of her life will be Friday morning at Saint Berndadette Church, 1026 N. Main Street, Randolph at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline, Ma.
