In 1976, Clyde S. Pushard began the Roache-Pushard Home for Funerals. He purchased 210 Sherman St. from the Roache family after the death of Joseph P. Roache and moved his wife Ann and son Lawrence into the existing building and made it their permanent home. Clyde Pushard was very active in the community and many families were touched by his compassionate nature. Sadly in 2005, Clyde passed away and his son Lawrence Pushard took over the family business. The Pushard Family Funeral Home is in its 2nd generation of family owned and operated funeral service. Lawrence M. Pushard is proudly carrying on the tradition that his father Clyde Pushard began over 45 years ago in providing the caring and dignified service your family deserves in a time of need. The Pushard family has always been very passionate about upholding the dignity and honoring the families they are privileged to serve. They strongly believe in respecting and honoring the beliefs and values of each family they serve, recognizing that individuals are unique and therefore honoring their lives should personally represent the life they lived. As a family owned and operated funeral home, Lawrence M. Pushard is able to address the needs of all families. Our independent status allows decisions to be made on the local level.
